Detroit, MI : Woman died in hit-run-crash at Linsdale Street and Northfield Street in West Detroit on Monday, Sep 7, 2015

Police say a woman in her 20s was killed Monday when a car with three men inside sped through a stop sign Monday and crashed into her car. The suspects are on the run after fleeing the scene.

The incident happened at Linsdale Street and Northfield Street in West Detroit at around 3 p.m. Police say the men were in a Nissan Altima that was traveling west on Linsdale Street when it blew past a stop sign and crashed into the woman's Chevy Cruze, which was traveling south on Northfield Street.

Witnesses say the Altima was going more than three times the speed limit. The Cruze reportedly hit a utility pole, flipped a few times and hit a tree.

The driver and a passenger from the Cruze also left the victim at the scene.

"I am surprised all of them left," said a neighbor. "I would have never expected them."

DTE crews are working to fix downed power lines. One of the cars crashed into the utility pole and brought down some live wires.

Neighbors say drivers fly up and down the street at all times of day and it's not safe.

Police are still searching for the three men.
