WOODBRIDGE, VA : Driver in deadly I-95 crash on Interstate 95 in Prince William County on Sunday, 19th November 2023

A man is dead after a tractor trailer and a car collided on Interstate 95 in Prince William County early Sunday morning. Virginia State Police troopers are investigating the crash.

According to the investigators, the crash happened around 5 a.m. when troopers responded to the two-vehicle crash. The tractor trailer and the sedan collided in the southbound lanes of I-95 at mile marker 156. The tractor trailer struck a pillar supporting a fly-over ramp, which caused the trailer to rip open and spill its contents, according to Corinne Geller, a spokesperson for VSP.
