Prescott, AZ : Sheriff's Office Avondale man killed in off-road accident in remote area of Yavapai County on Tuesday October 27 2015

Yavapai County authorities say a 44-year-old Avondale man was fatally injured while driving an off-road utility vehicle in a remote area east of Interstate 17.
The Sheriff's Office says a state Department of Public Safety helicopter's crew spotted the wreck Monday morning and that the body of Ryuji "Michael" Numata was found pinned under the vehicle on the side of a steep ravine.
The office says a search began late Sunday for Numata after he was reported missing.
According to the office, cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The office says initial reports indicated that Numata was wearing a lap belt but not the full upper body harness available for UTV users
