Baltimore, MD : Two people injured after a Two-car crash in Odenton Saturday night, September 10, 2016

A two-car crash in Odenton Saturday night resulted in two people being transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious injuries, county fire said.

Firefighters responded to the accident at 6:08 p.m. in the 1500 block of Annapolis Road, said Lt. Erik Kornmeyer, a county fire department spokesman. When they arrived, a 50-year-old man was trapped in one of the vehicles.

It took about 15 minutes for firefighters to remove the man, Kornmeyer said. He was taken to the shock trauma center by a Maryland State Police helicopter. The man’s injuries were “serious, possibly life-threatening,” the spokesman said.

A 27-year-old woman was also transported by helicopter to Shock Trauma with serious injuries, he said. County police are still investigating.
