A woman killed in a car crash Tuesday evening has been identified by the El Paso County Coroner's Office.

Tiffany Fisher, 33, was killed around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday when she was hit by a car on North Academy Boulevard. It was unknown whether she was from Colorado Springs.

Fisher was walking across northbound lanes when she was struck, according to police.

The cause and manner of Fisher's death have not been finalized pending the results of an autopsy, the Coroner's Office said. The driver involved in the crash was not cited Tuesday night. The investigation is ongoing.
