Groveland,CA : Father, son killed in Lake County crash on November, Thursday 16th 2017

father and son were killed in a car crash on Thursday near Groveland in Lake County, Florida Highway Patrol said.

Michael Reese Sr., 65, and Michael Reese Jr., 40, were from Center Hill, Sgt. Kim Montes said, and they were driving eastbound on Austin Merritt Road. Jose Zambrano, 32, of Santa Ana, Calif., was driving a semi-truck northbound on County Road 33.

Reese Sr., who was driving, tried making a left turn to travel south on CR-33, but pulled right into Zambrano’s path, who struck the right side of their 2010 Toyota Prius, Montes said.

The crash remains under investigation.
