Roanoke, VA : Tractor-trailer driver dies in crash in Rockbridge County on Monday, 3rd October 2016

A tractor-trailer driver died in a single-vehicle crash in Rockbridge County on Monday morning, state police said.
A 2009 Kenworth T-2000 tractor-trailer was traveling west on U.S. 60, a couple of miles east of U.S. 501 near Buena Vista, when its brakes failed, Sgt. Rick Garletts said. The truck ran off the left side of the road, down an embankment and overturned about 11:40 a.m., Garletts said.
The driver, Keith Darnell Garrion, 59, of Smyrna, Georgia, died at the scene. He was wearing his seat belt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
