Las Vegas, NV : I-15 reopens north of Las Vegas after crash on Saturday, 1st December 2018

All lanes have reopened on U.S. Interstate 15 north of Las Vegas after a crash involving a tractor trailer shut down part of the highway for more than eight hours.


The Nevada Highway Patrol says a northbound truck overturned at about 3:45 a.m. Friday near mile marker 80 about 25 miles (40 kilometers) northeast of the Las Vegas valley.

One lane was reopened at about 6:40 a.m., but traffic wasn't moving in both lanes until about 12:30 p.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. It's not clear if anyone was hurt.
