COLLETON COUNTY, SC : 1 dead 3 injured in crash on US 17-A near Cottageville on Saturday, 9th March 2024

One person is dead following a two-vehicle collision on US 17-A five miles north of Cottageville.
Corporal Tyler Tidwell said the collision occurred around 2:45 p.m. when a 2012 Harley-Davidson was traveling north and a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling south, colliding.
Officials say the driver of the motorcycle died at the scene and the passenger was transported to a local hospital. The two occupants of the Chevrolet were also taken to a nearby hospital for their injuries.
