MORGAN COUNTY, AL : Car crashes into Valhermoso Springs post office on Monday, 11th November 2024

Crews are repairing a Morgan County post office after a car came crashing into the side of the building on Monday.

The driver managed to take out an entire chunk of the Valhermoso Springs post office.

Postmaster Timothy Levan said he’s concerned for his customers, adding crashes like that are happening more and more often in the area.

“I’ve been postmaster a little over a year and this has been the fourth or fifth incident that someone has run past the stop sign and multiple people have ended up in the trees here and had to get tow trucks here to pull them out,” said Levan.
