WATERBURY, CT : 14-year-old dies, 4 others injured in Waterbury crash on Friday, 21st July 2023

A 14-year-old girl died, and five others were injured in a two-car crash involving a stolen SUV early Friday morning in Waterbury, police said.

Waterbury police said a Hyundai Sonata and Ford Escape crashed around 2:20 a.m. at the intersection of East Main and Baldwin streets. Authorities said the Hyundai was stolen Friday morning in Waterbury before the crash.
