East Toledo, OH : Man injured in fiery crash at East Broadway Street and Starr Avenue on Saturday, 17th November 2018

A man was critically injured in a fiery crash in East Toledo when the vehicle he was riding in struck a light pole.

The crash occurred just before 9 p.m. Saturday at East Broadway Street and Starr Avenue, Toledo Fire Pvt. Sterling Rahe said.

The vehicle caught fire after striking a pole, and bystanders pulled the man from the burning vehicle.

The man, whose name and age were not released, was taken to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center with what Private Rahe described as "life-threatening injuries.”
