One person was killed and another injured in a traffic accident in north Charlotte Friday evening.
The crash happened around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Beatties Ford Road and North Hoskins Road. Officials have not released many details but Medic confirmed one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second person, Medic said, was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with minor injuries.
The intersection was closed for hours because of the accident, but bystanders weren't worried about traffic trouble.
"Traffic is just not really my concern man. I just feel bad for the family. Someone just lost a loved one," said Glenn Bush.
No names have been released.
Police have not said what may have led to the crash or if any charges are being filed.
