Somerset, MA : State police cruiser involved in crash on Route 6 and Brayton Avenue on Monday, Nov 2, 2015
A Massachusetts State Police trooper was injured Monday when his cruiser was struck by a car in Somerset.
The cruiser was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Route 6 and Brayton Avenue shortly before 10 a.m.
A 2001 Ford Escort driven by a 48-year-old Fall River man broadsided the cruiser, police said.
The trooper was taken to Charlton Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the Escort was not injured.
