CLAFLIN, KS : 2 Kansas sheriff's office patrol vehicles hit by semi at accident scene on Sunday, 5th November 2023

A sheriff's office in central Kansas says two of its patrol vehicles were hit by a semi at the scene of an accident.

The Barton County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post Monday morning that the two patrol vehicles were at the scene of an injury accident on K-156 at the Ellsworth-Barton county line when they were struck by an eastbound tractor-trailer that failed to stop at the accident scene.
