ST. PETERSBURG, PA : St. Petersburg motorcyclist, 30, dies after crash on Saturday, 15th September 2018

A motorcyclist died after crashing into a truck on Park Street N on Saturday night, police reported.
About 5:25 p.m., Michael Aaron Baker, 30, was riding a 2018 Yamaha northbound on the road, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department. The St. Petersburg man was traveling "at a very high rate of speed," the agency reported.
At the same time, Andriy Dorosh, 28 and of St. Petersburg, was driving a 2016 Dodge Ram box truck southbound.
As Baker approached Fifth Avenue N, he attempted to turn right. He lost control and slid into the southbound lanes, police reported. The motorcyclist collided with the front of the box truck.
Baker was wearing a helmet but suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. He was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, where he died a short time later, police said.
The agency is still investigating the crash.
