CLEARWATER, FL : 71-year-old man dies after crash on US 19 in Clearwater on Friday, 26th January 2024

Northbound U.S. Highway 19 has reopened to traffic following a deadly crash Friday morning.

It happened in the area of U.S. 19 and Seville Boulevard, according to the Clearwater Police Department. Photos show an SUV somehow flipped onto its roof while a truck suffered damage to its front.

The driver, a 71-year-old man, died as a result of critical injuries suffered in the crash. Another person was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
