Montgomery, OH : Two Wilmington women dead after truck goes over ramp on Interstate 71 on Saturday, August 6, 2016

Two Wilmington women were killed when a truck went over a ramp and landed on or near their car on southbound Interstate 71 on Saturday, police said.

Sandra S. Tell, 67, and Sabrina A. Miller, 41, were pronounced dead on the scene of the crash, according to Montgomery police.

25-year-old Samantha C. Davis was driving on the ramp from northbound I-71 to westbound Interstate 275 just before 8 a.m. when she lost control of her Dodge Ram, official said.

Police report Davis was ejected. The truck continued, driverless, over the edge of the ramp and landed on or near the Nissan Altima traveling south on I-71.

Davis was taken to Bethesda North Hospital for treatment. Officers said her injuries are not life threatening.

Montgomery police said charges are pending against Davis. Potential causes of the crash has not yet been determined by investigators.

Traffic was backed up in the area into the afternoon.
