Wilmington, DE : Three people injured in Multi-vehicle crash near New Castle on Tuesday night, June 14, 2016

A multi-vehicle crash Tuesday night near New Castle sent three people to the hospital, an official said.

The wreck was reported in the northbound lanes of I-95 in the area of I-495 at about 10:30 p.m., said Cpl. David McKinney, a spokesperson with New Castle County Paramedics.

Paramedics treated three people for minor injuries, a 24-year-old man, a 78-year-old man and a 12-year-old girl, McKinney said.

All three were taken to Christiana Hospital and admitted in stable condition, McKinney said.

Delaware state police is investigating the crash.
