Readington, NJ : 54-year-old New York woman injured in serious accident in Readington on Wednesday, May 18, 2016
A 54-year-old New York woman was injured in a serious two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Flemington Whitehouse Road (Route 523) and Pleasant Run Road (Route 629) on Wednesday, police confirmed Thursday.
The accident was reported at approximately 5:15 p.m. According to police, Young Kim, 24, of Vestal, N.Y., driving a Toyota 4-Runner, was traveling on Pleasant Run Road when she attempted to cross Route 523, colliding with an Infiniti G35 traveling north on Route 523.
The Infiniti was driven by Gabriella Tango, 30, of Brookside, who was taken to Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township for chest pain, police said.
There were three passengers in the 4-Runner. One, Yeonhee Han, 54 of Vestal, N.Y., was flown by the State Police's NorthStar to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for a suspected broken leg, police reported.
The two other passengers were not injured and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, police said.
