PUEBLO COUNTY, CO : Child killed in Pueblo County after being hit by semi-truck on Monday, 16th September 2024

A 9-year-old boy was killed in a horrific collision east of Pueblo early Monday morning.

State Patrol confirms the child was hit by a semi-truck while crossing Highway 50 just east of Baxter Road. The deadly crash was reported at 5:27 a.m.

Troopers said the boy was walking on the shoulder of Highway 50. They said the semi was driving in the right lane when the boy ran into the road and was hit by the truck. He died at the scene.
