Arlington, VA : West Davis crash results in injury, DUI arrest on Sunday, 8th November, 2020

A Woodland man was jailed on drunken-driving charges early Sunday after one of his passengers was injured in a solo vehicle crash, Davis police said.

Nicholas Reyes, 19, was at the wheel of a car that struck a tree around 12:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of Arlington Boulevard near Cabot Street, according to Lt. Art Camacho. Two passengers were in the vehicle, one of whom suffered unspecified injuries that led to him being transported to a hospital for treatment.Reyes was determined to be under the influence of alcohol, leading to his arrest on charges of driving under the influence and DUI causing bodily injury, Camacho said.
