Marion, AR : Weiner resident killed and four others injured in a three vehicle crash on Interstate 55 in Crittenden County on Thursday, December 3, 2015

One woman was killed and four others were injured in a crash involving three vehicles on an interstate highway.

According to Arkansas State Police the crash happened Thursday at 11:17 a.m. on Interstate 55 in Crittenden County at mile marker 13.

Police stated a Volvo, Ford Ranger and Hyundai Elantra were headed north on I-55 when the Volvo drove onto the west shoulder and overcorrected. It then struck the Ford and debris from the collision stuck the Hyundai.

Five people were traveling in the Ford at the time of the crash according to ASP.

Michelle Greeno, 52, of Weiner was a passenger in the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Crittenden County coroner, the crash report stated.

Samuel Mayberry of Harrisburg was driving the Ford and was injured along with passengers John Lindsey of McCrory, Johnny Lindsey of Harrisburg and Kellye Faulkner of Harrisburg. Their conditions are unknown.

Those injured were taken to a Memphis hospital.

No other injuries were reported.

ASP stated the weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
