Clear Lake ,IA :One killed and two others injured in Two Vehicle Crash after semitrailer hit back of a pickup truck that had stalled along the highway on Thursday ,March 19th 2015

The Iowa State Patrol says one person was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 in Cerro Gordo County.

The state patrol says the Thursday afternoon crash happened after a semitrailer hit the back of a pickup truck that had stalled on the highway.

The pickup's passenger, 67-year-old Joleen McCrary of Traer, died in the crash. The truck's driver, 67-year-old Mark McCrary of Traer, was injured.

Authorities say the semitrailer's driver, 54-year-old Edward Travis, also was injured.

Both of the injured drivers were taken to a hospital. Their conditions weren't immediately known.
