PALM BAY, FL : 8-year-old killed in crash, 16-year-old driver expected not to be charged on Saturday, 22nd October 2016

An 8-year-old boy died in Brevard County Saturday night after police say he was hit by a car.

It happened in the area of Rivera Drive and Woodland Circle, south of Palm Bay Road.

Police say the boy, who has been identified as Wyatt Taylor, ran out into the middle of the street and was hit by a 16-year-old driver.

He was taken to the hospital, but did not survive.

As of Saturday night, police say they don't expect to charge the 16-year-old driver with a crime.
