Havelock, NC : One person killed in vehicle and motorcycle crash on Sunday October 9 2016

One person died in a crash Sunday afternoon in Havelock.

The wreck involved a vehicle and motorcycle and happened shortly after 4 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 70 and Greenfield Heights Boulevard.

The name of the victim was not released, pending notification of family members.

The Havelock Police Department is investigating and has not released any details of the crash.
