Leavenworth,KS : Tonganoxie man killed in crash on November, Wednesday 15th 2017

A man was killed when his vehicle went airborne and overturned near Tonganoxie, according to the Leavenworth County undersheriff.
The crash was reported at 7:28 p.m. Wednesday on Kansas Avenue about a half mile east of 222nd Street.
Dylan Williams, 23, Tonganoxie, was driving a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser convertible east on Kansas Avenue from the Paradise mobile home park. It is believed he was traveling at a high rate of speed, according to Undersheriff Jim Sherley.
Williams lost control of the vehicle after cresting a hill. The vehicle went off the south side of the road and went up an embankment.
The vehicle went airborne after striking a fence and tree. The vehicle struck a second tree and came to rest upside down.
Williams was wearing a seat belt, but he did not survive the crash, Sherley said.
