LORIDA, FL : Lorida man dies in head-on wreck on Monday, January, 8th 2018

Patrick Michael McGinty didn’t make it home Monday afternoon.

Just 6.7 miles from his home on Lake Istokpoga, the 69-year-old Lorida man’s silver 2002 Jeep Liberty ran head-on into a 2001 International box truck on U.S. 98. He was transported by Highlands County Emergency Medical Services to Highlands Regional Medical Center, but he died of his injuries.
