DOUGLAS COUNTY, WA : Car crash on State Route 97 near Entiat leaves 1 dead, 2 injured on Saturday, 13th July 2024

A 20-year-old man is dead and two others are injured after a car crash on State Route 97 in Douglas County.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the 20-year-old's car was traveling southbound on SR 97, while another car, carrying a driver and passenger from Spokane, was traveling north. The southbound car crossed the center line and crashed with the northbound vehicle. The 20-year-old's car caught fire, and both vehicles partially blocked the northbound lane.
