Seattle ,WA : SUV slams into office building after collision with car on Thursday morning ,July 2nd 2015

An SUV slammed into a Seattle office building after a collision with another vehicle Thursday morning, emergency officials said.

Police and medics responded to the scene, in the 500 block of South Lucile Street, at about 9:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a car into a building.

Arriving at the scene, they found a smashed-up Toyota RAV4 against the building. A damaged blue car was nearby.

The drivers of the two vehicles, a man and a woman, sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

A preliminary investigation found that the two vehicles collided, sending the SUV careening into the building.

A witness at the scene, Ian Hicks, told KOMO News it appeared the RAV4 ran a stop sign that was partially hidden by overhanging trees, then slammed into the blue car and rolled over before crashing into the building.

Hicks said the woman who was driving the blue car was able to get out of the vehicle on her own. The male driver of the RAV4 tried to get out but the doors would not open.

There was no structural damage to the building.
