Las Vegas, NV : Shuttle accident closes Terminal 1 for about one hour on Thursday evening July 24th 2014

The passenger pickup area of McCarran International Airport's Terminal One was closed today after a Holiday Inn Express Shuttle ran into a height restriction bar.

The accident occurred at 3:47 p.m. when the shuttle driver missed the turn to departures, airport spokesman Glenn Gardner said.

Four people, including an airport employee, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Terminal One has now reopened, Gardner said.
