Omaha, NE : One dead, four injured in Rural crash in Stanton County Friday evening on September 12, 2014
One man is dead and fourth others are in the hospital after a crash in rural Stanton County Friday evening.
The crash happened around 7:00 p.m. and closed down Highway 15 south of Pilger for about two hours.
Deputies say 25-year-old Trey Finkral had been drinking when he ran a stop sign, crashing into another vehicle, and rolling his own car into the ditch.
One man, 25-year-old Marcus Kamrath, died at the hospital. Another man was thrown from the vehicle and is in critical condition at Nebraska Medical Center.
The driver of the other vehicle and a passenger were rushed to the hospital, but should survive.
Finkral was also taken to the hospital, but should be okay.
Deputies cited Finkral on suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated. They say more charges could be filed soon.
