Gadsden, AL : Georgia man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, October, 17th 2017

A Georgia man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 278 just outside the Attalla city limits, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Donald R. Collum, 77, of Adairsville, Georgia, died after the GMC Arcadia he was driving left the roadway and struck a culvert.

Collum was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred at 10:02 a.m. on Highway 278 at the 118 mile marker, 8 miles west of Attalla.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
