MORRISTOWN, AZ : Deadly single-vehicle crash under investigation in Morristown on Friday, 12th May 2023

A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash near Morristown early Friday morning.

Peoria Police responded to an area north of Castle Hot Springs Road and SR-74 in Morristown around 2 a.m. where officers found the driver, later identified as 24-year-old Benjamin Musser dead. Detectives say that Musser was driving southbound when he veered off into the desert. Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, but no other information has been released,

Castle Hot Springs Road was reopened around 8:30 a.m. after an early morning closure. An investigation remains underway.
