ANTIOCH, TN : 22-year-old motorcyclist killed in Antioch crash at the intersection of Murfreesboro Road and Hobson Pike on Sunday, 26th May 2019

A 22-year-old Fairview man was killed in crash involving a motorcycle in Antioch Sunday night.

The crash happened at 9:15 p.m.at the intersection of Murfreesboro Road and Hobson Pike.

Metro police identified the motorcyclist killed as 22-year-old Jacob Mathis.

Mathis was riding a Suzuki motorcycle south on Murfreesboro Pike when a northbound Ford Edge, driven by a 36-year-old Gilberto Diaz, began to turn left onto Hobson Pike and pulled in front of Mathis, according to Metro police.

Metro police reported the motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the SUV.
