EDINBORO, PA : Cambridge Springs man charged in fatal crash on Thursday, 14th March 2019
The Pennsylvania State Police have charged a Cambridge Springs man in a one-vehicle crash in Washington Township in May that killed an Erie woman.
Charges including felony counts of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence and aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI were filed in McKean District Judge Denise Stuck-Lewis’ court on Wednesday against 23-year-old Gerald A. Rodarmel III in the May 5 crash that killed 25-year-old Anna Marie Kelsey.
Rodarmel, who is in state prison in another case, had not been arraigned on the charges as of Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened in the 2100 block of Kinter Hill Road in Washington Township at about 1:30 a.m. on May 5. State police charge that Rodarmel was driving a Honda Accord west on the roadway at a speed calculated at between 113 and 122 mph when the car went out of control, left the roadway, struck an embankment and trees and overturned. Kelsey was pronounced dead at the scene.
