Duluth, MN : One dead after rollover in Itasca County Saturday evening, February 4, 2017
A 22-year-old Remer man is dead after a rollover accident near Deer Lake in Itasca County Saturday evening.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a Chrysler Town and Country was traveling east on Itasca County Road 28 near State Highway 6 about 6:15 p.m. The vehicle skidded through a stop sign, began to roll and struck a power pole, coming to rest on its passenger side.
One passenger, a 19-year-old Remer woman was transported to Deer River Hospital with what authorities described as non-life-threatening injuries. An infant girl, who was also a passenger in the car, was not injured, the State Patrol said.
The name of the man who died was not released pending notification of the family.
