Columbus,OH : Route 30 reopened after crash on December, Thursday 14th 2017
A crash along U.S. Route 30 eastbound involving an overturned semi and two cars shut down the highway for nearly three and a half hours Thursday afternoon, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred just west of state Route 241 before state Route 93.
The call was received just after 12:10 p.m. Dispatcher Lisa Hoffman said there was a lot of debris from the crash, making the cleanup process time consuming.
Traffic was at a standstill following the crash as the patrol worked to clear the scene, and the Ohio Department of Transportation set up a detour.
No injuries were reported Thursday afternoon.
The right lane of Route 30 was opened just after 3:30 p.m. ODOT was still clearing the scene at 4:30 p.m.
