TIGARD, OR : Bicyclist dies in Tigard collision at SW Pacific Highway and SW Gaarde Street on Tuesday, 4th June 2019

A bicyclist is dead after crashing with a car in Tigard, officials say.

Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue said the crash took place Tuesday just before 8:30 p.m. at SW Pacific Highway and SW Gaarde Street.

Officials said the bicyclist was a male, but they have not identified him.

SW Pacific Highway is closed at SW Gaarde Street. Authorities said the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was cooperating.
