AURORA, CO : One dead after Aurora crash on Monday, 2nd April 2018

A driver died early Monday morning after the motorist’s car struck a bridge support at East Hampden Avenue and Parker Road, police said.

The crash, which happened about 1:20 a.m., closed westbound Hampden for several hours.

Police said the vehicle that crashed was the only vehicle involved.

Investigators have not determined what caused the driver to slam into the support, police said.

The name of the driver and other details about the crash have not been released.
