Tallahassee, FL : Teen seriously injured in Port St. John ATV crash on Sunday, January 8th 2017

A 15-year-old was seriously injured after being tossed off of an all-terrain vehicle in Port St. John.

The crash happened about 1:10 p.m. Sunday at Port St. John Parkway and Golfview Avenue. A caller reported that the teen lying on the ground near the ATV. Florida Highway Patrol troopers reported a roadblock in the area as investigators worked to determine what led to the crash.

Brevard County Fire Rescue crews were expecting to airlift the girl to Orlando for further treatment.
