DECATUR, GA : Charges expected for wrong way driver in deadly Decatur crash DeKalb Police on Wednesday, 16th August 2023

A person is now dead, and charges are expected for a wrong-way driver after a head-on crash on I-20 early Wednesday morning, according to the DeKalb County Police Department.

Officials began working the crash around 3:17 a.m. on August 16 and expect to have lanes clear by 6:15 a.m., the department website said. The crash happened on I-20 at Wesley Chapel Road in the westbound lanes, GDOT said.
