HANNIBAL, MO : A pair of Hannibal residents were hospitalized following a two-car crash on Monday, 7th May 2018

A pair of Hannibal residents were hospitalized following a two-car crash Monday at a stoplight at U.S. 61 and Warren Barrett North.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Wendy S. Alexander, 68, and Melvin K. Ryan, 88, both sustained moderate injuries. Both were transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Alexander, driving a 2018 Kia Soul, was stopped at the light. Ryan's 1992 Buick Century collided with Alexander's car when Ryan's vehicle failed to stop.

The crash occurred at 12:54 p.m. Both drivers were wearing safety devices.
