Ogden, UT : Cache County sheriff injured in hunting accident on Saturday October 1 2016

Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen was injured in a hunting accident Saturday in Idaho, the Cache County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jensen sustained a gunshot injury to his left hand and was transported via Life Flight in stable condition to the University of Utah Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 1 in Soda Springs, Idaho, according to a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Office.

The Facebook post said Jensen plans to be back to work soon.
