SEMINOLE, FL : Bicyclist critically injured in crash involving motorcycle near Seminole on Thursday, 8th November 2018
A 28-year-old bicyclist was critically injured when he was struck by a speedng motorcycle evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at about 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of 102nd Street N and 97th Street N.
Troopers say 25-year-old Anibal V. De Los Santos, of Largo, was riding a 2009 Honda motorcycle at a high rate of speed west in the center lane of 102nd Street N. He struck bicyclist Edward Austin Jablon, 28, of Largo, in the intersection, according to the Highway Patrol.
Both were thrown onto the roadway. Both were taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. Jablon was reported to have suffered critical injuries. De Los Santos was seriously injured.
