Cleveland,OH : Man, woman seriously injured in two-car Lorain County crash on may, Sunday 28th 2017
A North Royalton man and an Elyria woman were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a Lorain County crash.The crash happened about 4:45 p.m. on Grafton Road, north of Ohio Route 20, the Elyria post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said in a news release. A 32-year-old North Royalton man was driving a gray 2004 Toyota Camry south on Grafton Road, while a 44-year-old Elyria woman was driving northbound in a white 2007 Lexus sedan.
The Elyria woman drove left-of-center and smashed head-on into the Toyota, the patrol said.
Both victims suffered "incapacitating injuries" and were taken to MetroHealth via Life Flight helicopter, the patrol said. Their current conditions are unknown.
The Elyria woman was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, but the North Royalton man was not buckled. Highway patrol investigators have not released a preliminary crash cause.
