WAGENER, SC : Wagener man killed in single-vehicle crash in Aiken County on Thursday, 19th July 2018

The Coroner's Office and Highway Patrol are investigating a deadly single-vehicle crash in Aiken County.

According to the Aiken County Coroner's Office, 23-year-old Brantley N. Swartz of Kennedy Pond Rd. was driving a 2012 Chevrolet truck on New Holland Rd. in Wagener at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Swartz reportedly lost control of the truck, left the road, and struck a tree.

Swartz died of multiple body trauma. A toxicology test is still pending.
