A Harrison County man is facing charges after a two-vehicle accident in Sabraton sent one woman to the hospital April 14.
Morgantown Police Chief Ed Preston said a delivery truck was driving westbound on Earl L. Core Road (W.Va. 7) and left to enter the BFS store as a 2008 Kia Sorento was exiting, striking the front of the vehicle.
Preston said the woman driving the other car was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was identified as Zachariah Scott Jones, 31, of Clarksburg.
According to Jones’ criminal complaint, he failed three sobriety tests and police also found a Tylenol bottle in the truck filled with 18 tablets and six partial tablets of Tramadol.
Preston said Jones was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of controlled substances.
