Murray,KY : Driver probably died before wreck near Kirksey on April, Tuesday 24th 2018

Calloway County Sheriff Sam Steger said Wednesday that evidence shows a Calloway County man died that morning after suffering a medical-related issue while driving a car near Kirksey.

Steger identified the driver as Thomas H. Smith, 69, who lived on Downing Road near the northwestern Calloway County community. Steger said Smith was the lone occupant of a car that veered off KY 464 (Backusburg Road) and crashed just before 8:30 Wednesday morning about a half-mile west of Kirksey.
