Livonia, MI : One person was dead and another person was injured early Thursday morning in a fatal crash on I-275 on September 25th 2014

One person was killed early Thursday morning in a crash on I-275 in Livonia. The crash happened just after 3 a.m. in the northbound lanes at 8 Mile Road. Police said an initial investigation suggests a silver Ford Fusion hit a Chrysler LeBaron that was parked on the left shoulder. The impact of the crash caused the LeBaron to catch fire. It's driver was killed. The 27-year-old driver in the Fusion was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
